A new web page has been created for senior women's basketball player Anna Montañana. One of the best players in the Atlantic 10, Montañana earned national attention prior to the season by being named a preseason All-American by Street & Smith's and the Women's Basketball News Service.
The web page features news, stats, photos and more about one of the nation's top all-around players. The page will be updated periodically throughout the season and can be accessed through the women's basketball team page on gwsports.com or by clicking on the following link: Montañana All-America Page
Through six games this season, Montañana is averaging 16.3 points per game and 5.3 rebounds per outing. Against BYU on Dec. 6, she established new career bests with 25 points and five three-point field goals. A day earlier she was named the Atlantic 10's Player of the Week after scoring 19 points in consecutive games against Villanova and Oregon.
