Oha Named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week

PHILADELPHIA, PA - George Washington senior Ugo Oha (Houston, TX/Hastings) was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week announced the A-10 office on Monday, January 5. She averaged 18 points and seven rebounds for the Colonials over games against No. 5 Tennessee and Xavier. Oha is currently leading the conference in blocks as well at 3.4 a game.
Oha started the week by scoring 12 points and grabbing seven rebounds versus the Lady Vols. But, her presence was felt mainly on the defensive end where she swatted six shots. She followed up that performance with a season-high 24 points to go along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
The Colonials improved to 8-4 and 2-0 in conference on Monday evening and will now prepare to play Saint Joseph's at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10 at Smith Center.
