DOVER, DE - GW senior Michael Ball (Potomac, MD/Churchill) shot a two-under-par 68 to win a tri-match with Iona College and Columbia University Saturday at the par-72, 6,794-yard Wild Quail Country Club in Dover, DE. The Colonials placed second with a total 296, three stokes behind Iona's 293. Columbia was third with a 317.
The GW golf team was scheduled to play in the Princeton Invitational over the weekend but that event was canceled due to rain.
GW freshman Dan Mirabella (Ann Arbor, MI/Saline) carded an even-par 72 to tie for third.
