Oha Receives Fourth Rookie Of The Week Award

WASHINGTON, DC (Feb. 12) - The Atlantic 10 conference honored freshman center Ugo Oha (Houston, TX/Hastings) with her fourth Rookie of the Week citation on Sunday, February 11.
The talented center leads the conference in blocks with 55, a 2.2 blocks per game average. Oha is also ranked 11th in the nation in blocks per game. With her current total (55), Oha has as many or more blocks than seven Atlantic 10 teams have total. (Fordham 55, La Salle 51, UMass 50, Temple 44, Rhode Island 44, Dayton 40, St. Josephs 40, and St. Bonaventure 23).
Oha is also on pace to break George Washington Universitys freshman record for blocks in one season set by Tajama Abraham who recorded 67 in her first season with the Colonials, 1993-94.
