Men's Soccer Johannsson Named Co-Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON, DC (Oct. 8) - The Atlantic 10 announced their weekly honors today, naming George Washington sophomore newcomer Arnar Johannsson (Reykjavik, Iceland/C. C. of Iceland) Co-Rookie of the Week.

Johannsson received the honor after coming off the bench to score his second collegiate goal on Friday, Oct. 5 versus Xavier in Cincinnati, OH as the Colonials beat the Musketeers 3-2. A talented, physical presence at forward, Johannsson has provided invaluable depth this season.

Johannsson shares this honor with Massachusetts freshman Brent Plumley.
