Colonials To Gather For NCAA Selection Show

The selection show party will begin at 4:15 p.m. in the Top-20 Club in Smith Center. The selection show will begin at 5:00 p.m. on ESPN.
The media is invited to attend the gathering, and head coach Joe McKeown and selected players will be available after the show for comments. Media are asked to R.S.V.P. to Associate Sports Information Director Chris Stockton at 202-994-8604.
The Colonials post a 25-5 record heading into the postseason after claiming the Atlantic 10 Conference West Division regular-season championship and the top overall seed in the conference tournament. GW reached the championship game in the A-10 tournament before falling, 80-66, to Xavier.
GW is no stranger to NCAA success, reaching the Elite Eight in 1997 and the Sweet 16 in 1995. GW has never lost a first round game in the tournament in seven tournament appearances.
