George Washington Claims Atlantic 10 Women's Hoops Title

GW, winners of the West Division with a 14-2 conference record, is the top overall seed by virtue of defeating East Division champion St. Joseph's (23-4, 14-2), 70-67, on Feb. 6.
GW has won the Atlantic 10 regular-season championship every year since the 1994-95 season with the exception of last year.
