WASHINGTON, DC (Nov. 5, 1999) -- Sophomore Courtney Wright (Northport, NY/Northport) was named to the Second-Team All-Conference by the Atlantic 10 coaches, the only representative for GW soccer (men's or women's) this year.

Wright, who played and started in 17 games this season, was chosen for her defense by the Atlantic 10 coaches. For her career, Wright has played and started 39 matches, with 17 shots and three goals.

The Atlantic 10 coaches named Emma Kurowski of Massachusetts as Player of the Year, Dayton's Missy Gregg as Rookie of the Year and Geoff Bennett of St. Bonaventure as Coach of the Year.
