PHILADELPHIA, PA (Oct. 31) -- The George Washington men's soccer team closed out the 1999 campaign with a ghoulish 1-0 loss at Temple this Halloween afternoon.
Matt Kaufman tallied in the first half on an assist from Kevin Kelly to provide the game-winning goal. (The exact time of the goal was not recorded by Temple Sports Information staff.)
Senior goalkeeper Michael Jelencovich recorded two saves between the pipes for GW. Drew Moser was credited with eight saves for Temple. GW was the more aggressive side during the match, outshooting Temple 13-8 for the match. GW's offense created nine corners to Temple's three.
