Women's Soccer Draws 0-0 with St. Bonaventure

Sophomore Shannon Ashfield (Scarborough, Ontario/Bethune Collegiate) played a strong match in goal, recording six saves to earn her second Atlantic 10 shutout of the season. Her counterpart, sophomore Karen Cunningham, made three saves in recording her first shutout of the season for the Bonnies.
Four Colonials tallied two shots each to lead the offensive attack. Sophomore Kristin Konstanty attempted four shots to lead St. Bonaventure. Overall, the Bonnies attempted 10 shots, while GW tallied nine.
The Colonials move to 2-3-1 in conference play (2-11-1 overall). St. Bonaventure moves to 2-3-1, (5-6-2 overall).
GW travels to Duquesne on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match versus the Dukes.
