Emilie Elde joined the GW tennis program as an assistant coach in the summer of 2026.
"I'm beyond grateful for the opportunity to join GW tennis, and I look forward to supporting Jackie in developing our amazing student-athletes both on and off the court," said Elde. "I'm looking forward to working with such a talented, motivated and hard-working team."
Elde, a native of Norway, has competed internationally since the age of nine, including time spent on the International Tennis Federation's junior circuit. After turning 18, Elde competed in WTS Challenger events across Europe as a senior.
She crossed paths with Coach Calla in the States, spending one season on Syracuse's women's tennis team in 2024. After returning to Europe to finish her degree, Elde continued working in tennis, training with top coaches and academies to stay at the top of her game.
