2016-17 Season:Â Raced with second varsity eight for greater portion of season until suffering a mid-season injury. Sat four seat of the third varsity eight at the IRA Regatta, which placed third in the third-level final (5:57.447) for a national ranking of 15th...IRA All-Academic Team.
2015-16 Season:Â Sat three seat of the third varsity eight that placed third in the second-level final at the Eastern Sprints Regatta (6:02.184) to finish 9th overall... finished fifth in the second-level final at the IRA Regatta (6:11.720) for a final national ranking of 11th.
2014-15 Season:Â Sat five seat of the second varsity eight that placed third in the third-level final at the IRA Regatta (5:54.049) for a final national ranking of 15th.
High School/Club:Â Rowed out of Nereid Boat Club in Rutherford, New Jersey...four years of varsity basketball... Spanish Honor Society.
Personal:Â Born John Julian Alvarino on 09/13/1996... son of Lisette and Ariel Alvarino... one brother, Michael... attended Union County Academy for Information Technology... enjoys learning how to brew good coffee and tinkering with computers... pursuing a double major in Finance and Economics.
