
Oliver Broadrick Named 2021 IRCA Scholar-Athlete

Inaugural list of IRCA Scholar-Athletes released on Monday
Oliver Broadrick of GW men's rowing has been selected as a 2021 Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association (IRCA) Scholar-Athlete, the IRCA Board of Directors has announced.
To be eligible for recognition, a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, be in at least their second year of eligibility and competed in their respective program's top three boats during the most recent season.
The Amesbury, Mass. native holds a 3.73 cumulative GPA in computer science.Â
Broadrick was a key contributor to GW's 2V8+ throughout the regular season and helped the 2021 squad complete a historic finish at the IRA National Championship in May.Â
