Men’s Rowing Gears up for IRA National Championship

Time trials scheduled for Friday morning
WASHINGTON - GW men's rowing is back on the championship stage this weekend when it competes at the IRA National Championships on Friday and Saturday in West Windsor, N.J.
Friday morning, GW will race in a preliminary time trial that will filter boats into their respective heats for Friday afternoon and Saturday's championship races.
The Buff and Blue are seeded 13th going into the weekend but new seeding following the time trial will determine their final slate of races.
GW's varsity eight boat is coming off a second place showing at the Dad Vail Regatta on May 8, while its 2V8 boat took home the Ernie Bayer Trophy.
The IRA will provide a livestream of all of the races. Probable lineups and preliminary time trial times can be seen below.
