GW's outdoor track team put together a solid two-day showing at George Mason's Dalton Ebanks Invitational, collecting five program records and three wins across Friday and Saturday in Fairfax, Va.
Friday's opening day was highlighted by Nic Rodgers' program record-setting performance in the men's 800m, as the junior bested his own record set at last year's Dalton Ebanks Invitational by over two seconds, setting a 1:49.22 mark to finish second in Friday evening's competition.
Other notable performances from Friday included Una Boylan's win in the women's 5k, where the senior raced a 17:10.14 to earn the victory by a margin of nearly two seconds. Yehonatan Haim also earned a win in the 3000m steeplechase with a 9:08.20 finish. Cole Griswold shattered his own program mark in the men's 200m dash with a 22.22 finish in the race.
Saturday saw a new program mark in the men's 400m dash, as Griswold set the new school-best time of 50.03 in the event. On the women's side, GW hurdlerer Kamryn Holness broke her program record in the 100m hurdles set last season when she clocked a 14.77. Hadley Mahoney ended the night for the GW women with a program record in the 1500m. She registered a 4:23.97, breaking Kathryn Nohilly's mark of 4:27.79 set in 2022. Colin Funk led a group of eight GW finishers in the men's 1500m. He turned in a time of 3:51.42 for a fifth-place finish in the event.
Up next for the Revolutionaries is a showing at the JMU Invitational, set for next Saturday, April 11, in Harrisonburg, Va.
