Bohlke, Mbuthia Set to Race at NC State’s Raleigh Relays

GW track will send two of its men's runners to contend in the annual Raleigh Relays held on the campus of NC State on Thursday evening. Both senior Michael Bohlke and sophomore Charles Mbuthia will race in the men's 5K, which will begin around 8 p.m. at the Paul Derr Track. The action will be streamed via ESPN+.
In their first showing of the 2026 outdoor season, the two runners contended in the 3K, and both broke the program record in the race, with Bohlke setting the new school record of 8:22.43 to win the event, and Mbuthia followed with a third-place finish of 8:29.70.
Last season, Bohlke raced in the Raleigh Relays 5K and finished the race in 13:53.64, good for a top 50 finish in the field of more than 200 runners.
