WASHINGTON- GW lacrosse came out on top in Wednesday's intracity matchup, earning a 15-10 win over American at The Vern. This marks the second consecutive 3-0 start for the GW Revs and the first win over American since 2022.Â
HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The Eagles gained momentum in the second half and put up five additional goals, four of which came in the fourth quarter, but GW's steady defense was able to thwart the visitor's attempt at a comeback and seal the win for the Revolutionaries, 15-10.Â
