WASHINGTON -Â Ready for its first two-game week of 2026, GW lacrosse is set to host an intra-city showdown with American on Wednesday at the Vern before heading to Radford on Saturday. Wednesday's home game is slotted for 1 p.m., and Saturday's opening draw will be at noon and will be carried on ESPN+.

For the second time in as many weeks, a GW Rev has been named the A-10 Rookie of the Week. Leading the team with eight draw controls and netting two goals to defeat William & Mary, 14-8, first-year Daisen Iwan was recognized by the conference on Monday for her exceptional performance. With a 2-0 start to 2026, the Buff & Blue will look to capitalize on the momentum first on its home field before hitting the road for the first time in the young season.Â

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â The American Eagles are 0-2 on the year, having fallen to Georgetown and Temple early on. The Eagles finished 2025 at 5-11, and defeated the GW Revs a year ago, 13-7.Â
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Opening its season against George Mason, the Radford Highlanders dropped its season opener, 12-7. Saturday's contest serves as Radford's home opener. The Buff & Blue dominated last year's meeting, 18-1.
