Bohlke Heads to NCAA East First Round

WASHINGTON - Junior Michael Bohlke is set to compete in the NCAA East First Round in Jacksonville Florida on Wednesday evening, racing in the men's 1,500m at 6:30 p.m. on the campus of the University of North Florida. The meet will air live on ESPN+, and live tracking for the event can be found here.
Bohlke, a native of Newington, Conn., will compete in the national field after qualifying for the championships as one of the nation's top student-athletes in the event this outdoor season.  The Atlantic 10 champion in the event, Bohlke earned his gold medal in a 3:48.82 at the championship meet and holds a personal-best of 3:41.26. The top two finishers in each heat plus the next four fastest times in the event will advance to the next round of competition, held on Friday at 5:15 p.m.
