Wiesemann picks up lone singles victory for GW
ORLANDO – George Washington women's tennis wrapped up its season at the Atlantic 10 Championship on Friday after a 4-1 loss to No. 4 Richmond at the USTA National Campus.
Stella Wiesemann earned the lone singles victory for GW, besting Richmond's Leonor Oliveira, 7-5, 7-5. Richmond earned the doubles point behind wins at flights two and three and picked up wins at the sixth, fifth and third singles spot to advance to the semifinals.
GW finishes Head Coach George Rodriguez's first season at the helm with a 9-11-1 mark overall and a 5-5 finish in Atlantic 10 play.
