Fowkes tops school record in the 1500m
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Highlighted by Ryan Fowkes improving on his own 1500m school record, the GW outdoor track team compiled four personal bests at the UVA Grand Prix on Saturday.
Fowkes topped his time set last May by over a half-second to finish fourth in the event. Pat Castellano and Michael Bohlke also crossed the finish in a personal best time.
On the women's side, Yukino Parle finished 10th in the 1500m with a PR time of 4:30.35
