Wiesemann Selected to Atlantic 10 Preseason Team

GW selected sixth overall in preseason poll
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Stella Wiesemann of GW women's tennis has been selected to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Preseason Team, the conference announced on Wednesday.
Wiesemann earned the recognition after leading GW last spring with a 16-4 record in singles play, all at the No. 1 flight. She finished the season with a 9-1 mark in A-10 action and rounded out the 2022 campaign with eight-straight singles wins, with all but one coming in straight sets.
Her 2022 contributions awarded her recognition on the A-10 All-Conference First Team.
As a team, GW was projected to tie for sixth in the conference after reaching the Atlantic 10 semifinals last spring.
