Giraldo picks up lone singles win for GW
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – Gabriela Giraldo tallied her second singles win of the season in GW women's tennis' 6-1 loss to William & Mary on Saturday.
Giraldo topped her opponent in straight sets, winning 6-4, 6-4 over the Tribe's Sofiya Kuzina.
Giraldo and Stella Wieseman earned a 6-3 doubles win at the No. 1 flight, but W&M clinched the doubles point with a pair of victories.
GW returns to action on Friday for a 10 a.m. home match vs. Bucknell.
