Track & Field Earns All-Academic Recognition From USTFCCCA

Both men’s and women’s programs honored for academic success
NEW ORLEANS, La. - The George Washington men's and women's track & field programs were awarded All-Academic honors by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization announced on Friday.
To qualify, both teams had to post a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. The women's program posted a 3.55 GPA during the 2021-22 school year, while the men's program registered a 3.43.
Additionally, Margaret Coogan capped off her phenomenal GW career by earning an individual All-Academic selection. This is Coogan's second straight USTFCCCA All-Academic award, and is the latest honor in an impressive final campaign that included Atlantic 10 All-Conference nods in both cross country and track & field.
