Cross Country Competes at NCAA Regional on Friday

GW sends 14 racers to State College, Pa.
WASHINGTON – George Washington cross country will look to continue this season's strong showing when the men's and women's programs hit the trails again this Friday for the NCAA Regionals.
The event, which is hosted by Penn State, gets underway at 10:30 a.m. with the women's 6K championship race, followed by the men's 10K championship race at 11:30 a.m.
LAST TIME OUT:
George Washington cross country put together a strong performance at the Atlantic 10 Championship at Polo Green Park with the men's and women's teams recording their highest combined finish in program history. The men's team placed third overall among A-10 competitors, while the women's program recorded a fourth-place finish
Individually, Ryan Fowkes, Michael Bohlke, Yukino Parle and Sarah Mitchell all took home All-Conference honors.
LAST YEAR AT THE REGIONALS:
In 2021, GW women's and men's cross country capped off their seasons with program-best finishes at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional. The women took home a 6th place finish and the men earned a 13th place finish.
Individually for the women, Peri Pavicic led all GW runners with a 26th place finish, while James Glockenmeier's 33rd overall finish was best among the men.
