Women's Indoor Track Begins Season at Keydet Invitational

Two-day event kicks off Friday afternoon from Lexington, Va.
WASHINGTON- GW women's indoor track & field begins its campaign this weekend at the Keydet Invitational, hosted by the Virginia Military Institute (VMI) at the Corps Physical Training Facility in Lexington, Va. GW's first event will kick off on Friday afternoon, with several runners lacing up their running shoes again on Saturday.
The Colonials are coming off their most successful cross country season in school history, highlighted by the program's first-ever Atlantic 10 Championship. Graduate students Brittany Wilkinson and Allison Horwitch are expected to lead a slate of women's runners who will look to build upon their strong Fall campaign.
In total, GW will have six runners compete at the season-opening event on Friday and Saturday with the schedule as follows:
FRIDAY:
1:30 p.m. - Women's 400M

10:15 a.m. - Women's Mile
