Coogan, Nohilly earns individual accolade in addition to team recognition
NEW ORLEANS - The GW men's and women's track & field programs were honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their prowess in the classroom, earning the organization's Academic Award.
Additionally, Margaret Coogan and Kathryn Nohilly capped their phenomenal campaigns by earning individual All-Academic selections. The duo qualified by ranking in the top 96 nationally of the outdoor 3000m Steeplechase and holding at least a 3.25 GPA.
To qualify, the programs had to post a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0. The women's program posted a 3.67 GPA during the 2020-21 school year, while the men's program registered a 3.42.
