Colonials look to build off record-breaking spring season
WASHINGTON - GW outdoor track and field heads to George Mason this weekend for the Atlantic 10 Championships on Saturday and Sunday. A live stream of the events will be available on ESPN+.
Thanks to three more records falling in the last two competitions, the Buff & Blue have established 11 new school records in the spring campaign. Kathryn Nohilly set the school record in the 3000m steeplechase at the Virginia Challenge, her second record of the year to join teammate Brittany Wilkinson with a pair of top times.
On the men's side, Miles Grant has posted three new school bests in the 100m, high jump and long jump. William Gay (800m) and Ryan Fowkes (1500m) have also established new top marks.
The men's team is looking for its first all-conference performance since recording five in 2018. On the women's side, Suzanne Dannehim qualified for nationals as a result of her performance in 2019.
