Colonials set for final tests before A-10 Championship

WASHINGTON - GW track & field will compete for the final time before the Atlantic 10 Championships this weekend, splitting the squad between the Virginia Challenge on Friday and the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational on Saturday.

GW has seen eight different school records fall in the first three meets of the season, including newcomer William Gay breaking the mark in the 800m last weekend at the Mason Spring Invite.

Brittany Wilkinson also reclaimed her school mark in the 800m on Sunday after teammate Kathryn Nohilly had set the time to beat a week earlier at Towson.

Following this weekend, GW will take the rest of the month off from competition before heading to the A-10 Championship at George Mason on May 1-2.
