Track & Field Earns Three Wins, Breaks Three Records

Nohilly, Grant and Wilkinson set new school marks
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - Kathryn Nohilly set the school record in the 3000m steeplechase on Friday night at the Virginia Challenge with a time of 10:23.74 to win her heat and finish fifth overall. It's the second school record of the spring for Nohilly, who also set the mark in the 1500m last week at George Mason.
The time also shattered her previous career best by nearly 20 seconds. Peri Pavicic also PRed and posted a top-20 finish. Pat Castellano posted the sixth-fastest 1500m time in program history in his official debut for the Buff & Blue.
Women's 3000m Steeple

Miles Grant competed in all three jumps, setting a new school mark with a second-place finish of 1.90m in the high jump.
Brittany Wilkinson ran twice, setting the school record in the 400m with a third-place finish in a time of 59.85 seconds. She also picked up a win in the 1500m with a PR time of 4:44.23.
The Colonials also swept the 3000m steeplechase with Margaret Coogan and James Glockenmeier earning victories in the event. Glockenmeier blasted his previous PR by over 20 seconds to earn the win.
