Haynes Brown nets second goal of the season
WASHINGTON - The GW men's soccer team earned its first conference victory of the season, shutting out VCU, 1-0.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- 33rd minute: Tobias Williams found an open Oscar Haynes Brown, who slipped the ball past the VCU keeper to score the lone goal of the contest.
NOTEWORTHY
- The Buff and Blue outshot VCU, 11-9, with five shots on goal to VCU's four.
- Haynes Brown scored his second goal of the season, his first being a game-winning goal in double overtime vs. Mount St. Mary's.
