
A-10 Champs! Women's Cross Country Takes Home A-10 Title

Four runners take home All-Conference honors
CEDARVILLE, Ohio. - GW's women's cross country capped off their historic season with the program's first-ever A-10 Championship on Saturday.
Margaret Coogan led the way for GW, finishing second in a time of 17:31.7, while three racers finished in the top 15. Coogan's run marked the third-straight year that she finished in the top five of the Championship race, joining Megan Hogan as the second Colonial to accomplish the feat. She also became the fourth racer in program history to come in second at the A-10 Championship, joining Bridget Quenzer, Hogan and Suzanne Dannheim. Her time of 17:31.7 is the third fastest women's 5K time in program history.
Anchored by three top-10 finishes for the second straight season, the women's team won the championship with 50 points, finishing 25 points better than the next closest team. For the first time in program history, GW had four All-Conference honorees - Margaret Coogan, Kathryn Nohilly, Peri Pavicic, and Olivia Syftestad.
