
Men's Basketball Visits VCU Saturday on CBSSN at 4 p.m

TIPPING OFF: Coming off a tough loss to Richmond on Wednesday, the GW men's basketball team will hit the road to face VCU Saturday on national TV.
Tip-off between the Colonials and Rams is set for 4 p.m. The game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network and can be heard on the TuneIn radio app.
LAST TIME OUT: GW fell to Richmond, 73-70, on Wednesday evening at the Smith Center. For the second straight game, GW's upperclassmen led the charge with redshirt senior Armel Potter and junior Maceo Jack combining for just under half of the Colonials' total points with 34. Potter also had 12 assists for his fourth double-double of the season. Richmond's Blake Francis led all scorers with 19 points.
SERIES HISTORY: VCU leads the all-time season series over GW, 14-3. The Colonials will look for their second all-time win at the Siegel Center on Saturday.
SCOUTING VCU: The Rams are riding a season-worst five-game losing streak heading into Saturday's contest with GW. Marcus Santos-Silva leads the Rams in both points (12.7) and rebounds (9.1). Santos-Silva has reached double figures in 19 of 28 games with 10 double-doubles along the way.
RECENT ROAD SUCCESS: GW is looking for its third straight road win on Saturday. The Colonials haven't won three straight on the road since the 2012-13 season, when they won at UMass (Jan. 19), at Rhode Island (Jan. 23) and at Duquesne (Feb. 6).
NO SLEEP TILL BROOKLYN: Potter logged just a few ticks shy of the full 40 minutes on Wednesday. Over the last four games, Potter has been on the court for all but seven minutes (153 of 160). During the stretch, Potter is averaging 16.7 ppg, 8.2 apg and 4.5 rpg.
