Men's Basketball Visits Duquesne on Wednesday

TIPPING OFF: With six games remaining in the regular season, GW men's basketball is back on the road to face Duquesne at PPG Paints Arena on Wednesday at 8 p.m. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+ and the TuneIn radio app.
LAST TIME OUT: Armel Potter returned after missing three games to lead the Colonials with 20 points, eight assists and six rebounds against George Mason in a 73-67 win at EagleBank Arena. The Colonials shot 51% from the field and knocked down six 3-pointers in the win. Maceo Jack was impressive with 19 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the outside. The Colonials trailed, 30-28, at the half before taking a nine-point lead, 62-53, late in the contest. The Colonials scored a season-best 45 points in the second half to conclude the season sweep over the Patriots.
SERIES HISTORY: GW leads the all-time season series, 51-33, with the Dukes claiming the last five meetings. GW is 19-21 all-time on the road against Duquesne.
In the first meeting this season on Jan. 11 at the Smith Center, Jamison Battle completed his second double-double of the season and led all scorers with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Dukes scored the game's final six points over the last 2:05 of play to take the five-point win, 66-61. Duquesne's Marcus Weathers led his team with 13 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
SCOUTING DUQUESNE: Duquesne enters Wednesday's contest after squeaking out a win over Fordham, 59-54. The Dukes will be playing their fifth game of the season at PPG Paints Arena and hold a 3-1 mark.
Duquesne has featured a balanced offensive attack this season with five players averaging at least 9.3 points per game. Weathers leads the team in both points (14.5) and rebounds (8.0) and is fourth in the A-10 in field goal percentage (57.6).
On the other end, Duquesne ranks second in the league in scoring defense, allowing just 64.1 points per game.
LONG-DISTANCE CALLING CARDS: After knocking down four 3-pointers at George Mason, Jack has now hit four or more threes in nine games this season. He set a season-best with seven triples vs. Davidson in the four-overtime thriller. Jack is currently tied for second in the A-10 with 64 made 3-pointers.
