GW Lands 212 on A-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Two-hundred and twelve student-athletes from GW that achieved excellence in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year have been named to the Atlantic 10 Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll, the league announced Wednesday.
To be selected for the Commissioner's Honor Roll, a student-athlete in an Atlantic 10-sponsored sport must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA. First year students and graduate students are eligible to receive the award.
A total of 3,290 student-athletes from the league's 14 schools were honored, topping last year's high-water mark of 3,168. This is the second consecutive year the Commissioner's Honor Roll has been based on the entire academic year. Previously the award was granted following each semester.
Women's rowing had 31 honorees to lead the way for GW, while women's swimming and diving was next with 26.
