Colonials rearrange weekend schedule due to inclement weather
WASHINGTON - George Washington softball has rearranged its weekend plans due to inclement weather in the forecast and will now host a pair of doubleheaders.
Originally scheduled to spend the weekend in North Carolina, the Colonials will instead welcome Mount St. Mary's to GW Softball Field on the Mount Vernon Campus on Friday for two games beginning at 12:30 p.m. Then, they'll host Lafayette for another twin bill on Sunday with a noon start.
GW sits at 3-2 on the young season after posting a winning opening weekend at the Gardner-Webb Tournament on Feb. 8-10.
