Men's XC Places Two on A-10 All-Rookie Team

Glockenmeier, Robyne rewarded for strong initial campaigns
WASHINGTON- GW men's cross country newcomers James Glockenmeier and Isaiah Robyne were named to the Atlantic 10 All-Rookie team, it was announced on Thursday.
The All-Rookie team is comprised of the top seven men as voted on by the league's coaches and sports information directors.
Glockenmeier was the third-highest first-year finisher at the Atlantic 10 Championship last month, finishing 25th overall in the 8K competition with a time of 26:07.3. Earlier in the year, Glockenmeier was named the A-10 Rookie of the Week following his performance at the Paul Short Run, finishing 21st overall and besting his PR by 40 seconds.
He and Robyne were the Colonials' two representatives at the Mid-Atlantic Regional, finishing 13th and 15th among rookie competitors, respectively.
Robyne redshirted during the 2018 cross country season and made up for lost time with a 44th place finish at his first A-10 Championship. His best performance of the year also came at the Paul Short Run, finishing 24th overall in a PR time of 25:08.2.
