Josiah Allick also finished with a double-double (12 pts., 10 reb.). Kansas City finished with six players in double figures. White leads the Roos averaging 13.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Brandon McKissic, who finished with six points in the rout of Bacone, is second in scoring (11.6 ppg) after a pair of 10-point performances against Drake and Milwaukee, and a 27-point outing in the season-opener to Avila. Of the two wins this season for the former UMKC, both victories were against non-D1 opponents (Avilia and Bacone). Last Friday, the Roos fell to fellow Island of the Bahamas Showcase participant Milwaukee, 61-52. KC is led by first-year head coach Billy Donlon, who was previously an assistant at Northwestern and Michigan. Donlon spent six seasons as the head coach at Wright State (2010-16) and amassed a 109-94 record.
SERIES HISTORY: Friday's contest will be the first meeting between George Washington and Kansas City.
ALL HANDS ON DECK: GW got great contributions from the bench against Morgan State. The Colonials finished with 27 of the 64 points from Maceo Jack (13), Armel Potter (8), Ace Stallings (3) and Justin Williams (2).
