Glockenmeier Named A-10 Men's Rookie of the Week

First-year posted top time for Colonials at Paul Short Run
WASHINGTON - GW cross country first-year James Glockenmeier was named the A-10 Men's Rookie of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.
Glockenmeier led the Colonial contingent at the Paul Short Run on Saturday, placing 21st overall with a PR time of 25:06.6, the fastest among first-years in his heat. It was also 40 seconds faster than his previous 8k best.
It marked Glockenmeier's first top finish on the team in his three career races. The Basking Ridge, N.J., native has bettered his overall finish in each of the team's competitions, improving from 31st to 28th and now 21st.
