Softball Trio Named Easton/NFCA Scholar-Athletes

Linquist, Shelepak and Weber honored for academic success
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Three GW softball student-athletes have been honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association as 2018-19 Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athletes.
Seniors Jessica Linquist, Elena Shelepak and Faith Weber were among 1,769 individuals across NCAA Division I recognized by the NFCA on Wednesday for holding cumulative GPAs of 3.5 or higher.
Linquist and Weber were recognized for their academic excellence for a third straight season. Shelepak was honored for the second time.
All three were key contributors on the Colonials' history-making run to a share of their first Atlantic 10 title and postseason berth last spring.
