Metz made a significant impact at the plate, on the mound and in the field to help the Colonials to a road sweep at La Salle over the weekend.
At the plate he went 6-for-13 (.462) across the three games with multiple hits in two of the contests. He totaled two runs, one double, one triple and one stolen base.
On the mound he started the series finale and allowed one run over five innings of work with no walks and two strikeouts in a no decision. The Colonials went on to win in extra innings.
Metz rounded out his successful weekend in the field with five assists, four putouts and no errors while playing a combination of second base and pitcher.
