Women's Tennis Falls at FGCU

FORT MYERS, Fla. - The George Washington women's tennis team fell at Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday, 7-0, to close a busy spring break of competition.
The Colonials (7-7) battled in doubles play as junior Marie-Louise Decamps and senior Taylor Nederlander took the second-flight match, but FGCU took the early lead with wins at Nos. 1 and 3.
FGCU went on to sweep singles play to come away with the 7-0 win.
GW opens home outdoor play on April 1, when local foe Howard visits the GW Tennis Center on the Mount Vernon Campus.
