Muhl saved each of GW baseball's three wins over Dayton this weekend to become the program's single-season saves leader and help the Colonials to a 4-1 week.
The NCAA Division I leader with 13 saves, Muhl pitched a total of four innings and allowed just one hit on the week with no walks and four strikeouts.
In Wednesday's 12-1 win over then-No. 16 Maryland, GW's first victory over a ranked opponent since 2008, Muhl pitched a scoreless inning with three strikeouts. He went on to set the single-season saves record by closing out all three wins over Dayton.
For the season, he has a minuscule 0.49 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 18.1 innings.
