GW Women's Tennis Completes Hokie Fall Invitational

BLACKSBURG, Va. - The GW women's tennis team closed the final day of the Hokie Fall Invitational on Sunday with three singles victories at Virginia Tech's Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center.
Freshman Teodora Radosavljevic finished seventh in the Flight A singles draw with a three-set win over the Hokies' Kelly Williford, 1-6, 6-3, 6-3. Classmate Marie-Louise Decamps also finished seventh in the Flight C bracket as she held Wofford's Samantha Russell scoreless in a 6-0, 6-0 win.
After dropping her first match on Friday, junior Lana Robins powered back to win three straight and take home ninth in the Flight B singles draw with a 6-1, 6-0 decision over Alice Taylor of UMBC.
The rookie doubles duo of Decamps and Radosavljevic fell to the Retrievers' Shannon Cleary and Madlena Kurasz, 5-8, in its final Flight A consolation bout.
The Colonials return to the court on Friday in Ithaca, New York, at the three-day Cornell Fall Invitational.
