Senior Jacqueline Corba opened the day with a No. 1 singles victory over Sonja Stosic, 7-6 (6), 6-2. Sophomore Leah Pascarella nearly blanked Zeynep Mafa in the second flight match by set scores of 6-0, 6-3.
Junior Mimi Hamling defeated Emma Brook, 6-4, 7-6 (4) in the No. 4 match, and senior Meg Tyner earned a 4-6, 6-2 (7) victory over Nicole Pivonka in the No. 6 spot.
Junior Lorena Valente dropped a three-set match to Marcela Rosales by scores of 2-6, 6-1, 3-6 in the third flight. At No. 5, sophomore Isabella Escobar fell to Alex Bell, 3-6, 6-3 (5).
In doubles play, Hamling and Krohn teamed up for an 8-6 victory over Stosic and Mafa in the No. 1 match. Corba and Valente defeated Brook and Pivonka at No. 3, 8-4. The pair of Escobar and Pascarella fell to Rosales and Ieizerovich, 8-1.
