Lasan Kromah Named A-10 Co-Rookie of the Week

WASHINGTON, DC -- For the third time this season, George Washington's Lasan Kromah has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference co-Rookie of the Week for men's basketball, the league office announced Sunday. Kromah also won the A-10 weekly honor after the season's first week on Nov. 22 and again on Jan. 10. He shares this week's Rookie honor with Rhode Island's Akeem Richmond.
A 6-5 freshman guard from Greenbelt, MD (Eleanor Roosevelt H.S.), Kromah averaged 23.5 points in GW's two games last week. At No. 25 Richmond Saturday, Kromah poured in his career-high 25 points on 10-21 FGs including 4-11 from beyond the arc. He added eight rebounds and a pair of assists against the Spiders at the Robins Center. In GW's 66-60 victory over UMass on Wednesday, Kromah led all players with 22 points on 7-14 shooting and 5-7 from three-point range.
Kromah's stats for the week: two games, 47 points on 17-35 FGs (.486), 9-18 3FGs (.500), 13 rebounds (4 offensive, 9 defensive), three assists and a steal in 62 total minutes.
