Kromah Wins Second A-10 Rookie of the Week Award

WASHINGTON, DC -- George Washington's Lasan Kromah has been named the Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for men's basketball the league office announced Sunday. It marks Kromah's second A-10 weekly honor after winning the honor after the season's first week on Nov. 22.
In GW's only game of the week, Kromah scored his career-high 23 points on 9-11 shooting from the field as GW posted a 78-71 victory Jan. 6 over St. Bonaventure in Olean, NY.
The 6-5 freshman guard from Greenbelt, MD (Eleanor Roosevelt H.S.), converted his first four three-pointers Wednesday and had 12 points in the first half.
Kromah's stats for the week: one game, 23 points on 9-11 FGs (.818, 5-7 3FGs (.714), 3 rebounds (1 offensive, 2 defensive), 1 assist and a block in 25 minutes.
GW (11-4, 1-1) next travels to Philadelphia Wednesday to face La Salle (8-7, 1-1). The game is scheduled to tip off at 7 p.m. and will be televised on CBS College Sports Regional and broadcast live on 1050 AM as well as online at www.FederalNewsRadio.com.
