Men's Basketball's Matt Allbritton To Transfer

WASHINGTON, DC -- George Washington University freshman Matt Allbritton (Dallas, TX/Garland Christian Academy) has notified the GW men's basketball coaching staff that he will not return to the team next season, GW coach Karl Hobbs has announced. Allbritton will be given his release from GW allowing him to transfer to another school.

"Matt wanted to attend a school that was closer to home," Hobbs said. "We wish him the very best in his future."

A 6-foot-4 guard, Allbritton appeared in nine games this season. He averaged 0.8 points, 0.1 rebounds, 0.2 assists and 3.6 minutes per game.
