Xavier Alexander Voluntarily Withdraws From GW

WASHINGTON, DC -- George Washington University sophomore Xavier Alexander (Forrest Park, OK/Midwest City H.S.) has voluntarily withdrawn from the University, GW coach Karl Hobbs announced Wednesday. He will be given his release from GW allowing him to transfer to another school. "We wish Xavier the very best," Hobbs said.
A 6-foot-7 guard, Alexander appeared in all 13 games this season, started 12 games and averaged 3.5 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 20.6 minutes per game. In 36 career games, Alexander averaged 3.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 20.4 minutes.
