
GW Women's Tennis and Soccer Go Green

Washington, DC - Join us Sunday, September 14 as the GW Buff and Blue go Green!!! The GW Women's Soccer and Tennis Teams will be hosting two children's clinics on Sunday, September 14 to help raise environmental awareness within the community and on the playing field. Several partner organizations will be on hand to help collect and "recycle" old gear. Please bring any used cleats, soccer balls, jerseys, tennis balls, tennis shoes, or tennis racquets to the clinic and help contribute to the national and international recycling effort.
The tennis clinic will be held from 2-3pm on Sunday and the soccer clinic will be held from 3-4pm. The cost of each clinic is $10 separately OR $15 if you attend both. The fee will be used raise money for GW's Green Initiative. The website is under construction, but tune into http://www.gwu.edu/~greenu/.
All children ages 5-13 are welcome. You can sign up for either clinic by contacting dbuth@gwu.edu or calling 202-242-6748. Additionally, if you would like to donate used gear, but can't attend the clinic, please feel free to contact dbuth@gwu.edu to drop off any items you may have.
